Description:

The Microsmith T-I/O-8 model 960702 is an I/O rack module which is housed in a rugged ABS 94-VO DIN rail mount shell.

The unit can accept up to eight standard Opto22 or Grayhill AC, DC or Analog type modules. The terminals from each module are connected to a high quality screw-type terminal block which allows easy installation without requiring special tools. There is an LED on each module to indicate the logic level status of digital modules.

The rack is capable of controlling a maximum of eight modules; all types of modules may be mixed in any order up to the maximum capability of the rack. The system uses Standard Network Variable Types (SNVT's) for all variables.

The on-board processor is a 68HC11D0 (except LONWorks, which has a 3150) with 48K Flash and 8K RAM. The MOStm operating system allows user applications to be downloaded in-circuit via an RS-232 serial port. The LONWorks version can be downloaded over the LON.

The T-FLEX architecture supports the following distributed control protocols:
