Description:

The T-FLEX is a Protocol Processing Module which eliminates the need for communication programming of control modules.

The LONWorkstm device uses the 3150 Neuron and has 48K of flash; optionally, an additional 8K of RAM is available.
The other T-FLEX modules use the Motorola 68HC11 processor with 58K of flash and 8K of RAM.

The T-FLEX supports the following protocols:

ProfiBustm

DeviceNettm

SDStm

LONWorkstm

Ethernet

FOUNDATIONtm fieldbus (in the near future)

Pinouts of the T-FLEX MODULES:

All the FlexNodes have two connectors with a common pinout. The arrangement of these connectors is such that it allows commonality between the Echelon processor modules and the 68HC11 processor modules. This is important because Echelon processors have built-in unalterable software I/O models, which must be emulated in the 68HC11 processor in order to make them useful. In particular, the PWM and Counter/Timer objects can easily be emulated.

The I/O connector is a dual row 0.1" 18-pin male header with the following pinout:
