| The Microsmith T-DIO-8 model 940604 is an I/O rack module which is housed in a rugged ABS 94-VO DIN shell with a snap-on top. The unit can accept up to eight standard Opto22 or Grayhill AC or DC type modules. The terminals from each module are connected to a high quality screw-type terminal block which allows easy installation without requiring special tools. There is an LED on each module to indicate the logic level status. The rack is capable of controlling a maximum of eight input modules or eight output modules; however, the two types of modules may be mixed in any order up to the maximum capability of the rack. The system uses Standard Network Variable Types (SNVT's) of the form SNVT_lev_disc. The on-board processor is a 3150 Neuron. The board has a 48K map for EPROM (27C512), and a socket for 8K x 8 EEPROM/RAM. Echelon users can develop their own software for applications requiring local logic using the LONWorks program. |
