The Microsmith T-Clock model 940605 is a T-FLEX based node. The on-board processor is a 68HC11D0 (except LONWorks, which has a 3150) with 48K Flash and 8K RAM. The MOStm operating system allows user applications to be downloaded in-circuit via an RS-232 serial port. The LONWorks version can be downloaded over the LON. The unit is designed to be used as a controller, timer, and/or supervisor when the necessary logic cannot be implemented in the individual nodes of a LON. The RTCC has a replaceable lithium battery which keeps the clock running in the absence of power. The accuracy of the clock may be trimmed through software for applications where the clock must keep extremely accurate time. The T-CLOCK unit is housed in a rugged ABS 94-V0 DIN shell with a snap-on top. The module operates from 10 - 28 VDC and connections are made through a high quality screw-type terminal block which allows easy installation without requiring special tools. The source code is open and available for those who wish to develop their own software. A nine pin D-sub connector brings the IIC and power connections out so that external I/O may be added. |
