| The Microsmith T-Clock model 940605 is
a 3150 based node. It contains a real-time clock and calendar (RTCC) which can be used to
program the on-off times of the four AC output drivers. In addition, it has 48K x 8 of
EPROM/FLASH EEPROM and an 8K x 8 RAM/EEPROM socket. The unit is designed to be used as a controller, timer, and/or supervisor when the necessary logic cannot be implemented in the individual nodes of a LON. The RTCC has a replaceable lithium battery which keeps the clock running in the absence of power. The accuracy of the clock is, nominally, 1 min/month. However, it may be trimmed through software to an accuracy of less than 11 sec/month for those applications requiring more stringent timing. The T-CLOCK unit is housed in a rugged ABS 94-V0 DIN shell with a snap-on top. The module operates from 10 - 28 VDC and connections are made through a high quality screw-type terminal block which allows easy installation without requiring special tools. The source code is open and available for those who wish to develop their own software. A nine pin D-sub connector brings the IIC and power connections out so that external I/O may be added. |
